LiLi Tower by kier
Project Log: Here
Small cube cases are pretty popular at the moment, and Lian Li's PC-V351 is certainly a premium example. It's a great looking (if a little expensive) case, and forum member kier, who also picked up first place last month, is at it again with not one but two cube cases.
Interestingly, the PC-V351s don't house separate PCs. Instead, kier is using one to house a hoard of water-cooling hardware, while the other provides a home for a fairly beefy LGA1366 system, with the goal of linking the two to make one PC. Above we can see one of two Black Ice GT Stealth 240 Black radiators, which are installed in the front of the top case.
The most eye-catching feature of the mod is undoubtedly the angled reservoirs - we haven't seen many systems take this approach. Meanwhile, an illuminated mid-section adds even more pizazz.
As if two angled reservoirs weren't enough, kier also bought a FrozenQ reservoir. It's one of the best-looking reservoirs available at the moment, mainly due to the illuminated coil inside it. Meanwhile, Shiny Bitzpower fittings allow the reservoirs to be slanted - we're loving the look.
Above we get our first look at the cases combined. Despite their relatively small combined size, the modular aspect has enabled an impressive amount of hardware to be installed.
LiLi tower is one of the most promising water-cooled mods we've seen in recent weeks. Head over to our
forum if you would like to vote for it.
